1. Know Your Mini Cleaning Tools and Parts

Daily care for your Didasou Mini focuses on the outer surface, ear domes, sound outlets, microphone openings, and charging contacts. Beneath each ear dome, a replaceable wax guard helps keep wax and debris out of the device.

Your Mini includes an accessory pack with a two-in-one cleaning brush, replacement wax guards, and two additional pairs of ear domes. Ear domes come in three sizes in total, with one pair already fitted to the hearing aids.

Use the brush to gently remove surface dust and earwax, and a dry, soft cloth to wipe the hearing aid body after each use.

2. How to Clean Your Mini Hearing Aids Daily

Wipe the Surface After Each Use

Gently wipe each hearing aid with a dry, soft cloth or dedicated cleaning cloth to remove sweat, oils, and dust.

Do not apply water, alcohol, or wet wipes directly to the hearing aids. Liquid can seep inside and damage internal components.

Brush Around the Sound Outlets and Microphone Openings

Use the supplied cleaning brush to gently remove surface dust and debris around the sound outlets and microphone openings.

Keep brushing gentle. Do not forcefully poke inside either opening.

If a wax guard is clogged, damaged, or blocking sound, replace it with a compatible Mini wax guard.

Clean the Charging Contacts

Gently sweep dust and earwax away from the charging contacts using the supplied cleaning brush.

Keep these surfaces clean and dry. Debris on the contacts can interfere with charging.

3. How to Replace Mini Ear Domes and Wax Guards

Ear domes provide the fit inside your ears, while wax guards help protect the sound outlets from wax and debris.

Replace Mini ear domes and wax guards every 2–3 months, or sooner if they become loose, damaged, or clogged.

Replacing Ear Domes

  1. Hold the hearing aid body. Gently twist and pull off the old dome. Avoid pulling forcefully.

  2. Choose a compatible replacement. Select the appropriate dome size from S, M, or L.

  3. Attach the new dome. Align the dome base with the sound outlet. Press firmly and evenly until it fits securely with no gap.

  4. Check the attachment. Gently tug the dome to confirm that it stays in place.

When you put the hearing aid back on, check for a secure, comfortable fit without looseness or whistling.

Replacing Wax Guards

Prepare the supplied wax guard applicator and work on a clean, dust-free surface.

  1. Remove the ear dome. This exposes the old wax guard at the sound outlet.

  2. Insert the removal end. Align the applicator’s empty end—the end without a new guard—straight with the old guard and insert it.

  3. Remove the used guard. Slowly pull the applicator out.

  4. Install the new guard. Align the end carrying the new guard straight with the sound outlet. Press firmly into place, then withdraw the applicator.

  5. Finish and check. Gently brush around the sound outlet, securely reattach the dome, and check that sound passes through normally.

Replace a blocked guard rather than trying to force a tool through it.

4. Keep Your Mini Dry and Charge It Correctly

Make sure your hearing aids are dry before placing them in the charging case.

Keep your Mini away from bathrooms, swimming pools, and other damp environments. Avoid exposure to rain and prolonged wear during heavy sweating.

Between uses, place the hearing aids in their charging case or a dedicated hearing aid drying box. Allow additional drying time during humid weather or after heavy sweating.

Do not use an oven, microwave, or other heating device to dry your hearing aids.

Maintain the Charging Case Desiccant Sheet

The Mini charging case has a desiccant sheet compartment in its lid to help manage moisture during storage.

To replace a used or expired sheet:

  1. Open the desiccant compartment in the lid.

  2. Remove the old sheet.

  3. Place the new sheet flat inside the compartment.

  4. Close the compartment securely.

Use Suitable Charging Equipment

Use a standard USB power adapter with a 5V output and a suitable charging cable. The supplied charging cable is recommended.

Charge in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, and heavy dust.

If Your Mini Is Not Charging

Check the following:

  • Insulating stickers: Remove the stickers from the hearing aid charging contacts before first use.

  • Position in the case: Make sure each hearing aid is correctly seated in its charging slot.

  • Case power: If the charging case has no power, connect it to a power source.

Contact Didasou support if the problem continues after these checks.

5. Everyday Use and Maintenance Tips

Return Your Mini to the Case After Use

Place both hearing aids correctly into the powered charging case when you finish using them. Mini switches off automatically when returned to the case.

Leaving the hearing aids switched on for long periods can drain the batteries.

Use the Removal Cord Grip

To remove your Mini, pinch the removal cord grip and gently take the hearing aid out of your ear.

Schedule Regular Maintenance

Every 1–3 months, give the sound outlets, microphone openings, and charging contacts a thorough cleaning using the cloth and brush methods above. Do not force tools into the openings.

Every 6 months, inspect the device seals and accessories for wear. Replace aging accessories, and contact support if you notice damage to the device.

Store Safely

Keep your Mini away from heat sources, strong direct sunlight, and enclosed hot cars.

For long-term storage, switch the hearing aids off and keep them in a cool, dry place. Recharge them every three months during extended periods without use.

Store hearing aids, charging cables, ear domes, wax guards, and other small components out of reach of children and pets.

Do Not Share Your Hearing Aids

Do not let others use your hearing aids, as this may damage their hearing.

6. When to Contact Didasou Support

Contact our support team if:

  • Your Mini still has no sound after checking its charge, volume, and wax guard.

  • Charging problems continue after the checks above.

  • An ear dome will not attach securely.

  • You need help choosing or replacing Mini accessories.

Stop using and charging the hearing aid immediately if it overheats, changes shape or color, or leaks fluid. Do not use a damaged or modified device, or attempt to open it and replace the battery yourself.

If you experience redness, itching, stinging, persistent pain, or excessive earwax buildup, consult a healthcare professional.

If a dome or another part becomes stuck in your ear and cannot be easily removed with your fingers, seek medical help promptly. Do not use tweezers, cotton swabs, or sharp tools to retrieve it.
